Esteemed Life Member of BSM,

BSM is delighted to announce an upcoming event – the BSM Research Award, scheduled for November 2023. This marks a significant milestone for the Society, as it’s the first time such an occasion will take place. The purpose of this day is to honor and acknowledge researchers who have completed their remarkable work, which either remains unpublished or is awaiting publication and additionally, to provide assistance to researchers who are in the process of embarking on a new research project.

The Research Award Day will be structured around three distinct categories:

1. Oral Presentation of Completed Research Projects
2. Poster Presentation of Accomplished Research
3. Oral Presentation of Protocols for Future Research Ventures

For those eager to participate, kindly submit a concise abstract of your finished work, ensuring it remains under 500 words. Our esteemed panel of judges will meticulously evaluate submissions, selecting the top 10 abstracts for oral presentations and 20 abstracts for poster presentations. Successful candidates chosen for oral/poster presentations will receive guidance on crafting their presentation slides and posters.

Participants inclined towards submitting research protocol concept notes are urged to provide comprehensive details, encapsulating the background, rationale, objectives, methods, expected outcomes, utilization, and a succinct budget summary – all confined within two standard pages. Notably, co-authorship is admissible for oral/poster presentations, while for protocol submission the participant must be the principal investigator. 5 best protocols will be presented on the event day and the Jury will select 2 protocols that will get a handsome amount of research grant.

The submission deadline for abstracts and protocol concept notes is September 20, 2023. Kindly forward your contributions to BSMresearchwing@gmail.com with the subject line “ABSTRACT_BSMRA” for abstracts intended for oral/poster presentations, or “CONCEPT_BSMRA” for protocol submissions.

An esteemed panel of judges will undertake the task of evaluating the submitted abstracts and concept notes. It’s important to emphasize that this competition exclusively caters to life members of BSM.

Wishing you the best in your academic pursuits.

Warm Regards,
