Md. Roushon Ali obtained his MBBS in 1981 from Rangpur Medical College with distinction in all professional examinations. He obtained Membership (MCPS) in Family Medicine in 1994 & Fellowship (FCPS) in Internal Medicine from the Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS) in 1998. He also obtained Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases (DTCD) from Dhaka University in 1996. He did his MD (Cardiology) in 2001 from Banglabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. Now, he is working as a Professor of Medicine and in-charge of Cardiology Unit of Medical College for Women & Hospital, Uttara, Dhaka. He is a good organizer and researcher and has contributed towards the improvement of both undergraduate and postgraduate education in Bangladesh. He is examiner of MBBS & DTCD Examination under Dhaka University and Membership Examination of BCPS. He is active in organizing various scientific conferences, workshops, seminars and symposiums, and has presented different scientific papers in seminars.
He has a keen interest in medical research and has more than 35 publications in different peer-reviewed, Medical Journals. He is a contributing author of Rashid, Khabir, Haider's Text Book of Community Medicine and Public Health. He is an Editor of The Journal of the Medical College for Women & Hospital.
