Dr. Ratindra Nath Mondal is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicine of Rangpur Community Medical College. He was born in 1984.His father’s name is Dhirendra Nath Mondal and mother’s name is Mrinalini Mondal. Academically he achieved his MBBS degree in 2006 from Rangpur Medical College and he stood 9th place. In 2012 he completed his FCPS on Medicine from Bangladesh College of Physician and Surgeons (BCPS). Till today he has more than 9 publications in different renowned journal. Recently he worked on Hypertension and related issues like -Factors influencing drop out from follow up of hypertensive patients, Prevalence of hypertension in Rangpur division and some other studies are still ongoing. The ongoing researches are on - 1. Prevalence of DM in hypertensive patients. 2. 30 days mortality outcome of acute stroke patients by volume of blood and site of stroke. 3. Verbal autopsy of hypertensive patients. He is working with the aim to generate awareness on hypertension-the silent killer disease. He has been participated in different national and international Congress and meetings as a speaker. One of his important missions is to establish the SAARC society of hypertension.
